Attendance Awareness Month

Attendance Awareness Month is a nationwide event recognizing the connection between school attendance and academic achievement. Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job. Join the Butler County School System in the campaign to end chronic absence!

Have We Made A Difference Today? Then tell us about it!

Attention Parents and Employees:

Have you noticed someone in your school (teacher, support personnel, bus driver, or administrator)…..

¨ Helping  a co-worker?

¨ Volunteering for a committee or task?

¨ Going above and beyond for a student or parent?

¨ Lending support to a staff member?

¨ Going the “extra mile” in any form?

Then here’s your chance to give that person a “pat on the back”.  Employees, students, parents, and community members are encouraged to nominate someone who “Makes the Difference” in our schools.
