  • Virtual College Fair Opportunities

    The NACAC Virtual College Fairs offer students an unprecedented opportunity to explore their options and get started on their college dreams. More than 600 colleges and universities will be online to talk with high school juniors and seniors on each of these fair dates: Sept. 13, Oct. 12, Oct. 18, and Nov. 8. Students may attend as often as they like. Parents are invited, too! Register at

    ALACRAO is pleased to offer Alabama high school students the opportunity to attend Virtual College Fairs and information sessions. This event is free and will allow students and families to experience virtual campus tours, watch videos and download materials helpful for in decision process, and schedule meetings and interviews with admissions representatives

    The school calendar for 2020/2021 school year was revised and approved by the Butler County Board of Education at its regular meeting on July 30, 2020. Students will return to school on September 8, 2020. Please view the calendar here.

  • McKenzie School has been designated as an Alabama Bicentennial School. The school received a gubernatorial commendation signed by Gov. Kay Ivey, a bicentennial flag, and bicentennial-themed school resources and supplies. The program encourages community outreach and improvement projects to connect classrooms with local communities.
