Enrolling in Butler County Schools

We welcome you to the Butler County School System. We are excited to announce an online enrollment system, PowerSchool Enrollment, for student registration.

If you have additional questions about the enrollment process, you may contact the appropriate school office for help.

Returning Student Enrollment

We are required to collect updated student information yearly.  A Returning Student is any student who finished the year in one of the Butler County Schools or received any Special Services, including pre-school, provided by the Butler County School System. A student progressing through the Butler County School System feeder pattern (ex. GMS to GHS through promotion) is considered a returning student. A student moving from Greenville Middle to McKenzie is considered a new student and should complete the New Student Enrollment.

Please note, the system for Returning Students will only be available from August to May each year.

New Student Enrollment

A New Student is any student who did not finish the school year in Butler County School System or has never been enrolled at any school within the Butler County School System nor received any Special Services, including pre-school, provided by the Butler County School System.

Please note, the New Student Enrollment forms for an upcoming school year will launch in March each year.  This typically applies only to incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students for the upcoming year.
