Butler County Schools’ Lisa Adair Appointed to AASCD CLAS Board of Directors

The Butler County School System is proud to announce that Mrs. Lisa Adair, Assistant Superintendent for Instructional and Federal Programs, has been appointed to serve as the Director for the Alabama Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) on the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) Board of Directors for the 2025–2026 term.

This prestigious appointment reflects Mrs. Adair’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence and leadership. Her selection to represent AASCD on the CLAS Board is not only a personal honor but also a notable recognition for the Butler County School System.

Superintendent Joseph Eiland commented on the announcement, saying:

“It is a distinct honor for Mrs. Adair to be chosen as a representative of a state-wide association. CLAS and its affiliates are highly respected among educators across Alabama for prioritizing the welfare of children and providing high-quality professional development for school leaders. We are extremely proud of Mrs. Adair and know she will represent Butler County and the state with distinction.”

CLAS plays a critical role in supporting school leaders across Alabama by fostering collaboration, professional growth, and advocacy. Mrs. Adair’s appointment ensures that the voice of Butler County educators will be heard at the highest levels of educational leadership in the state.
